“Williamsburg venue Glasslands was featured in tonight’s episode of GIRLS, hosting a performance by the rapper Lil Freckles prior to Marnie and her new romantic interest Desi taking the stage.”
Lil Freckles is the alter-ego of Emma, who got her music into the right hands while working as a production assistant on the set of GIRLS. Frecks’ also recaps each episode on her Instagram and has a mixtape titled Plan B set to drop shortly. She’ll also be involved with some of the writing on Season 4.
